Invitation to Lego WEDO education for STE (A) M area teachers
Adapting the education system to the digitalisation and technological development is inevitable if we want to have staff who are ready to go in line with the development of advanced technologies. Our children have been using them since they were little, and they are often more successful than adults. Let's make their skills an advantage and give them the opportunity to continue to develop their potential in that direction. To be able to do that, let’s embrace their problem-solving approach, let’s play with them. Let's make them use robotics through the game today, learning the basics of mechanics, mathematics, technology as well as basic programming skills. Let’s teach them teamwork, encourage them to communicate and discuss, think critically and creatively, and develop motor and creative skills.
But that is why they need good guides, educators who will introduce them to a new world of learning through play. We hereby open an invitation to all STEM teachers who want to be educated on how to approach learning through play (children aged 6 to 10) to participate in a workshop to be held within SCINETIFIX at the University of Mostar on March 10, 2022 at 12 in the building of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Education in the Computer Classroom 109.
All Lego We Do participants will receive a certificate of participation, as the University of Mostar is the national contact point for the SCINETIFIX project, which involves twenty-eight countries.
You can apply via the application: https://prijava.sum.ba/radionice/108 no later than March 7
